Love Spoke into Darkness
Love spoke into darkness and there was light.
Love speaks into our dark place to give new insight.
Love spoke into existence the world, the moon, and stars.
He speaks to our world …He knows where we are
Love from the cross saw the great need of our soul
A special place in His heart we hold
Love has given His life so we can also His love speak.
He has given His Word to the seeking heart that sees
Love washes us white as new fallen snow.
His shed blood has made the redeemed new and whole.
Love speaks encouragement and will lift and edify;
Love speaks in so many ways to water the soul parched and dry.
Love has a name Jehovah …God that supplies all you need
His name is Jesus that saves the one that believes
His name is Wonderful…. Lord of Lords and King of Kings
Love speaks into a life and makes it able to His praises sing/

Genesis 1:3
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

            I love to think of what our world will be under the rule of Christ.  I am sure it will be much nicer than my imaginings. But the real challenge believes when our surroundings are a real mess our Lord is still the ruler of our life.  Jesus assures us He will never leave us or forsake us.  I by faith believe I am in His loving embrace right now.

In His Embrace

Life in the sunshine; not one cloud in sight,
Everything grows healthy… such a delight;
Carefree and happy with smiles wide;
Forgiven, pure, and holy deep inside.
What a lovely picture painted in words of rhyme;
It is witnessed rarely in the world’s trying times.
Fear and stress is rampant; now and then,
Even in the Church gloom and doom is moving in.
The child of God must realize.
The world-view is better observed through faith’s eyes.
Faith, that the storm clouds that looms ahead,
Are not meant to cause fear or dread
The one well prepared will be sheltered from the hard rain;
For there is healing-comforts for any unwanted pain,
Jesus, the Son of God shines His love over, in, and through you for you see,
The joy of the Lord sets you free.
Forever-life in the Son’s light is indeed up ahead.
Rejoice and give praise; even now in God’s embrace you live!

Proverbs 2:6-8
For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.

        I wondered how we as God’s children are asked to come like a child and yet are expected to grow up to become mature Christ-followers.  It is now easy for me to see how at times I am like a spoiled little baby; whining, complaining, and demanding to get my own way, and at other times I demonstrate the wonderful childlike faith that is pleasing to our heavenly Father. I believe my God is always for me.  I with His help trusts Him to work things out for my best.

Gathered in His Loving Fold

New babies make their demands
When they need a helping hand.
When they are hungry and need to be fed;
If they can speak or not you know what is said.
When frustrated or hurt and they cry out in fear;
Their eyes fill up with tears
Good parents are responsible and are there for them,
For they truly love and care for them.
Children learn by example and by words that teach;
With love present the truth inside will reach.
In God’s kingdom it works the same way,
By Jesus’ example and as His Word is obeyed;
His followers bring their petitions in prayer to God above.
They also see clearly His favor and feel His love.
With the more mature child things do not change,
But if they still throw tantrums it would seem strange.
The one wise humbly makes their requests;
And allows God to work things out for their best.
Trust in God’s care and in His faithfulness rest and you will see,
The Holy Spirit directs to the way that is best for thee.
You too will become a good example for another to behold;
So they also are gathered into His loving fold.

Psalms 85:13
Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

I John 2:6

            He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
