Jesus indeed is the Light of the world, but what is just as important to know is He is the light of our world.  Do we allow Him to lead and guide us through the troubles and trials of our life?  Do we lean on and rely on the Word of God to light our path?  Is He not only our Lord but is He the Lord but also the Light of our lives?

The Light

Jesus is the light of the world but what I want to say,
He is the Light of my world each and every day.
Jesus is Life and The Way to the Father above,
But to me the truth is His life paved the way to love.
Jesus is Master, Creator, Savior, and Lord of lords and King of kings.
But He is to me everything that makes my heart sing.
Jesus is the name above all names; at His name all will bow,
But my choice is I choose to honor Him now.
He is provider and lover of our soul,
He is love that through us overflows.
He is bread for the hungry and drink for those who thirst.
He satisfies the heart-hunger to those that place Him first.
He is the Song of Salvation that will forever play;
He is the joy of salvation that forever stays.
He carries all our burdens and answers prayer,
Because of who He is, of all things He is aware.
He  is the flower of heaven and He seeks His bride,
To walk eternally with Him at His side.

The light shines in the darkness to gather all who will come,
For all who searches for answers in his life, He is the One.
He is the One who is everything you ever will need,
He is the increase, He is the seed.
Jesus is the Light of the world it is true,
The only question you need to ask; is He the light in you?

John 8:12

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

We need the Light of the Lord as the world it seems to getting darker and darker each day.
As we draw close to Jesus we are able to see He is also the way to eternal peace and safety.

The Light

Jesus is the Light of the world, but what I want to say,
He is the light in my world each and every day.

John 14:1-4
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

            Jesus is The Light. The Word and The Truth that brings peace, hope, and even joy in our world of conflict and uncertainties. We can and must to be an overcomer, bask in the Light of His Glory.

The Light of His Glory

In the light of His glory I am able to see,
The beauty of Salvation promised to me.
I see the sunshine above the clouds of today.
I see the love of tomorrow on display.
In the light of His glory I am able to feel,
The truth of a forever-love that is real.
It healing power reaches deep within,
With renewed faith and great desire again.
In the light of His glory darkness flees.
The world and its attraction lost its power over me.
The fears and troubles and its threats of death fade.
In the glory of His presence I am at rest and safe.
Love surrounds and fills and overflows my life.
I am One with Jesus He is love’s light.
As I contemplate His greatness and am built up within.
With His strength, His Word, and with Him.
As the day passes and a new day starts,
I carry the light of His glory inside my heart.
Ready again to reach out a helping hand to another.
So they too the Light of Jesus will discover.

2 Corinthians 4:6
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
