One Note Does Not Make a Song By Brenda Drake

There is a false idea only certain people have importance in the song called life.    Every person has opportunity for an anointed place in the body of Christ; not one more important than another.  Every person needs the saving grace of Jesus;  for all fall short of the glory of God.  We all must repent and accept Jesus as Savior.  All can have a place in the worship and praise of God, to bring the light of love into the dark world.

One Note Alone Does Not Make a Song

A symphony of praise around the world strong;
Needs unity, for one note alone does not make a song.
Every tone from the softest to the loud clang or shrill,
Is a precious sound to the One that Heaven’s rooms fill.
Every life has a part in the song called life;
But those set aside and marked as His plays the song right.
Each, in their special place prepared,
To add their touch to the already signed masterpiece shared.
Each a beautiful part of the Bride of Christ;
Called to rule and reign at His side.
Each individual is precious in their unique way.
Personally and intimately they are His to stay.
One note does not make a song, only brothers in accord.
Will sing the forever-song that glorifies the Lord.
Your love makes its own contribution,- a note to God above.
Be comforted in knowledge your life’s sound is fully loved.
In prayer, praise, and worship settle into your special place.
Where you are accepted and drawn into God’s forever embrace.

I Corinthians 1:10
Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

The Song I Sing By Brenda Drake

I love to sing God’s praises and I know Jesus loves the joyful noise I make. He hears, composes and even sweetly joins in at times. My heart rejoices for it knows Jesus is the Song I sing.

The Song I Sing

Jesus is the song I sing, He was sent from above.
He is everything to me; He is God’s gift of love.
His tune is mercy, compassion, and grace.
Jesus’ melody shows God to the human race.
He is a symphony of life’s eternal rest;
He is a divine-orchestra of truth best confessed.
He is the lullaby that lulls us to peaceful sleep at night.
He is the only tune known sure, pure and right.
He is the Composer of provision sent from above.
Jesus is the One who orchestrates our songs of love.
Again I say Jesus is the song I sing.
He is also my Lord, Savior, and my King.

Psalms 149:1
Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

Psalms 95:1-2
O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

He Did it All for You By Brenda Drake

            There is no greater feeling than the moment we truly realize Jesus suffered and died for us.  The wages of sin is death; He paid the debt we could never pay.  Because He lives we are able to live a life set free from sin and forever blessed.  The truth is; He did it all for you!

He Did it All for You

Mary poured her life’s earnings on Jesus head,
An unknown man prepared a place at the Master’s request.
Judas made the decision to plan,
The betrayal of the Son of man.
The disciples listened but did not hear,
They followed but soon ran away in fear.
Jesus prayed in the garden; by himself set aside,
He wept with great agony inside.
Peter along with his friends,
Slept and could not keep watch with Him
Judas arrived with a great crowd of men,
With the sign of a kiss he directed them.
Like a pure innocent lamb,
They angrily delivered the Son of man;
Into a biased court to be crucified;
Jesus God’s Son for each of them would die.
Peter was reminded of the Master’s prediction,
That he would deny Him with great conviction.
The world about us is doing the same things,
Some serve, some deny, and some betray the King.
But the truth is Jesus loved us all so much,
He died and rose again to administer His touch.
His touch forgives and makes new,
All that hear and believe; He did it all for you.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The Flower Arrives By Brenda Drake

            True awakening was the day when the truth revealed I had no way to pay my debt of sin and my eternal destination was hell. At the lowest place of my life The Flower arrived; Jesus died so I could forever live with Him. All I needed to do was to confess my need of a Savior and to repent my sin.  Since that great day flowers of His love are delivered to me daily.

The Flower Arrives

The flower arrives at a heart’s door,
With an invitation to come into the presence of the Lord.
Come as you are; holy apparel is supplied;
Holy, pure, and righteous garments ready for the bride.
Come, says the Bridegroom, My heart aches for you to see,
The beautiful future I have prepared for thee.
Leave all fear and worry behind,
Revel in joy that you are forever Mine.
Sweet peace settles inside deep,
With everlasting assurance to keep.
Tell Me all the hopes and dreams, I already know.
I love to hear your voice and l love to affection show.
One day I will call you and you will never go away.
It will also be your choice to stay.
All the little glimpses become real and true,
As heaven’s open-arm embrace you.
Until then, remain in tune to Love’s call to come.
Spend quality time in the presence of Jesus, God’s Son.
Keep heart open wide to receive and to bow low,
In worship and praise in the Spirit’s flow.
In love’s sweet aroma with God as one;
The flower arrives to invite another to in God’s presence come.

Matthew 11:28-29
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you,
and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

The Song all will Sing By Brenda Drake

Jesus, there is something about that name. It sounds like music to my heart.  I will sing His praises now and forever.  He is the song all will sing.

The Song all will Sing

Who gave you ears to hear and a song to sing,
And a heart, mind, soul and everything?
As the hearts fills with thanks, worship, and praise to God above,
Who fills your being with His love?
Who fills to overflow with joy and peace,
And by His Word causes great increase?
Who watches over you night and day?
Who by a prayer chases fear away?
What heart when touched with mercy and grace.
Does not yearn to see His face?
Jesus is the tune the grateful heart sings.
He is Lord of Lords and King of all kings.
He is the Melody that heaven sent to man;
To visit the earth to show God’s plan.
He is the Word of God, the Truth, when heard;
New life, new sight, and new purpose occurs.
A new destiny calls to put Salvation on display.
Jesus is the tune of Heaven and the Song all will sing one day.

Psalms 40:3
And he hath put a new song in my mouth,even praise unto our God: many shall see it,
and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.
