The older I get it seems the faster time travels. The things I thought I would do I no longer am able to do.  But, with God’s strength within, I am able to accomplish what I once thought I was unable to. With His very present help and comfort as time flies I am able to look ahead not with fear or regret but with joyful expectation.

Time Flies By

Time flies by, weeks, months, years.
Every life has times of joy, worry, and fear.
Worldly cares and concerns take up much time it is true;
Places you need to go and things you need to do;
Dishes and laundry needed to be cleaned,
Teachers, doctors, perhaps lawyers that needs to be seen.
For many the Good-Book remains unread; and their spirit remains underfed,
Times of prayer are sporadic, and filled with regret;,
Or they are almost automatic like reading a shopping list.
Sleep frequently is disturbed or cut short in time.
Food is grabbed on the run or even forgotten sometimes.
Busy, too busy, time filled with many things.
It’s rare in a fast-spinning-world to hear a heart that sings.
When the body has lived many years at this steady pace,
Fine lines are by deep grooves replaced.
The eyes become dim and stamina disappears;
Then the world says, the time to retire is near.
But God says, treat the hours of your life with respect,
As you live each moment good things expect.
Bring every concern to the God that cares,
Spend time in the Word and in His strength you are able to share.
You will be able to reach out even in your busiest day,
To help another when you take time to live God’s way..

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

         God does so much so we can hear the call of the Spirit; wooing, and drawing us to Him.  He gives us a life-time and the choice to say yes…or no.  His voice whispers in every part of our life.  His love is so great He descended from heaven to shout His invitation and provision to become His from the cross.  Have you made the decision to answer His call?  

Whisper of Time

We only hear a small whisper of Him; so great and mighty is He,
As a babe He entered our atmosphere so His face we could see.
All creation listens to the voice of I AM,
For the existence of time is in His hand.
Every flower, every tree, every creature great and small
The God of love has created and named them all.
He speaks in every language under the sun;
Every man or woman He bids to come.
So great is His desire to be of us a part;
He whispers encouragement to be allowed into our heart.
The love of God is great and its span so wide,
He has granted us free choice to allow Him inside.
Hear Him in the thunder; hear Him in life’s pain,
Hear Him in your trouble; He whispers your name.
Hear Him in the stormy day and in days when all is well.
Hear Him in the Word of God inspired to His love story tell.
Listen to the sweet sounds of wisdom when it arrives at your door.
It is always knocking with words delivered from the Lord.
He is, was and ever will be,
The realm of time is only a whisper of eternity.

Revelations 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Revelations 10:6
And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom.
