It is wise to not always say what is on our mind. Words can cause much damage and are impossible to take back. If we speak the Word of God or words that not contrary to what is good and right we will be better off, and will cause us less trouble and shame.
When You Have a Mind
When you have a mind to do it, you follow through. What matters is, what or who inspires to make you move? When your mind is upon Jesus and the Word of God you seek, When you have the mind of Christ it is His will you speak. Many times you need to examine what caused you to do or say. When it is self, emotions get in the way. When it is the devil that gets rule of your tongue, You can be sure no good is done. Where is your mind resting, on worry, stress, or fear? If so, you can be sure your mouth will make your intentions clear. With your mind on God and His love, peace, and joy you will be, A voice in the wilderness that leads to Me. Many say, I have a mind to tell them just how I feel. Make sure it is the kind of words that can mend and heal. Another saying, I have a notion to give them a piece of my mind, It is wise if it is something that help to the truth of Christ find. Follow your heart is another saying that is spoken much, But only if your heart allows Jesus to rule is it of value to trust.
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.Galatians 5:16-17

Chapter 4
There are times when a glimpse of our wonderful future helps us get through our present situation. The joy of such glorious revelations makes life smell like sure victory.
Glorious Day Ahead
Oh glorious morning when the new day shines; When Jesus my Savior is forever more mine, When the birds and the flowers sing their song clear, And only joy and peace rings in my ear, Oh glorious sunshine that He shines on me, His new faithful bride for all eternity, Such love and compassion flows from His eyes. Never again to be hindered or disguised, Oh glorious sweetness surrounds me complete, As I kneel in adoration at His feet. All praise and glory to my God I give, For only because of His work in my behalf can I live. Joy flows like a river bubbling deep within, Never to be touched or tainted again with sin. So great is this place ahead I see, That my God has planned for me, That it shines much brighter than the present day. Only then do all the fears melt away. On glorious morning after the gathering takes place, When the redeemed are rescued by God’s saving grace. Every man, woman, and child will sing, “Jesus Christ is our risen King!”
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

LOVE MAKES A WAY
I have stayed awake all hours of the night trying to figure out how to get out of a predicament I was in. I would start the new day just as lost on what to do as I started the night before. I am so glad I have learned to bring the problems to God and to leave them to Him to bring the solutions. I still may not have known what to do, but I did know the One that did.
As Close as a Prayer
The answer is right before your eyes. It becomes clear to the wise. Your answer is as close as a prayer; State your need and leave them there. What is it that troubles your heart within? Lay them down and do not pick them up again. Does anger poke you with its provoking prod? When it does, turn again to God. Does fear grip you in its terrible grasp? Rebuke its hold and turn from it your back. Know the answer is before your eyes; And He your battles fight. Run to the answer for the One wise, He has the ability and He is your supply. The answer is the One in heaven and who also lives within. Do not hesitate to bring all inquiries to Him.
Acts 6:4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

Heaven’s Window
I wonder was the window of heaven closed up tight, So they could not see the terrible sight? Did the angels cry at the loss; Of the precious Son of God hanging on the cross? Did the flowers close their bloom on the day, The Son of God was sacrificed and put on display? Birds must have stopped singing; Heaven’s Song was stilled; When He submitted willingly to do the Father’s will. The rivers and streams surely did not desire to flow, For the River of Life was poured out for every living soul. I know the mountains protested in sad display, For God’s Word says there was a mighty quake that day. But, oh how my heart rejoices as I also can by faith see, The angels, and the heavens cheering on golden streets, When the tomb burst open and Jesus was alive and well. Hope and peace, in the redeemed a victorious story now would tell.
Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death

In one of my tipsy-turvy times trying to figure out things on my own; I was not even able to pray because of the churning in my spirit. The Lord revealed how really simple it is to get the peace back that I once enjoyed in His presence. All it really takes is a humble heart that fully admits its inability to go it alone, and that truly repents of its self-assured ways.
Calm Your Troubled Sea
When within you it is not calm or at peace, A storm rages, there is a troubled sea, Your thoughts are uncertain; blowing with the wind, Some wrong emotions are bottled up within. Tossed to one side, then to another, Rocking in a vessel but seeking cover, But it is not a pleasant journey at all, If you attempt to stand you stumble and fall.| This is not a word of rebuke as you might suppose, It is a word to assure you, all things God knows. What can be done about this trouble within? Admit your attitude is indeed sin. Admit your faith needs working on, And that you are weak not all that strong. As for the troubled waters about you; Something can be done for that too. Jesus’ love provided your redemption. He broke the chains and bondage of sin, He deposited new authority to your new man. He offers His name to make your demands. In Jesus name, declare to the raging water, peace be still; Perfectly fitting in the Father’s will. The enemy will surely torment the heart that allows him too. This need not be, heed this word is delivered to you.
John 16:23 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
