Wake up Church there is a revival in our future. Let us be willing and even eager to show and tell this world God is and always will be in control.

Show and Tell

Small children take things to school for show and tell;
Sometimes it is treasured object that is known by them well.
A special book…or a toy;
Or even a shinny object found nearby.
But the very favorite thing to do,
Is to show their pet if allowed to bring to school.
So great is their excitement when,
It’s their turn to show their treasure to their friends.

It is time for the Church to show and tell.
It’s time for them to share their faith as well.
Show others the Light of God’s love by your smile.
Show your complete trust and appreciation just like the small child.
Tell of your blessings and testify salvation’s plan.
When you love your brethren… God’s love they’ll understand.
Take time to sing God’s praises and remember …expect good to come;
For your faith shared with others show the works God has done.

Psalma 66:16
Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.

Psalms 22:22
I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

I believe You my Lord I stand on the Word of God.

In our troubled world there are so many words, opinions, and downright lies all around us. We cannot lean to our own understanding. We need to trust God and on His Word depend.  

Lies From the Father of Lies

Flat out lies spoken to deceive;
Useless, of no value seeds;
Sown by evil unruly tongues.
A very evil work is done.
A flat out lie man heard from the start.
From God’s enemy, the father of lies evil heart.
He points out every infraction, sin and flaw,
Says you are doomed, and you are a lost cause.
It’s a flat out lie; Jesus loved you so much,
He died to pay your debt of sin to fill with His love.
It is never too late to repent and to change your ways.
Jesus is ready at every moment of every day.
It is a great lie you have committed the unforgivable sin;
If you desire forgiveness, you have not so blasphemed Him.
Read the Word, so His ways you will understand,
Then the seeds of untruth will not grow in your land.

Ephesians 4:27
Neither give place to the devil.

Once Upon a Time

Once upon a time when the earth was young,
There was the Father, The Spirit and The Son.
Deep in their heart was a plan to be,
A lovely plan to last for eternity.
With a little dust from earth He formed man,
He was fashioned carefully by God’s hand.
Then just a breath from God above,
Packed within was life, and love.
Man and women in one He made,
To His image portray.
The crown of creation was he;
Fully created to appreciate his God intimately.
In this land together they danced, sang and played;
Thoroughly enjoying one another every day.
But then entered sin,
And the sweet fellowship came to an end.
Innocence was lost …evil was now in control.
Man had been deceived and lost his soul.
But the Creator, God of love, power, and might,
Came to rescue the love of His life.
He chose to pay their debt of sin,
By giving His own life to save them.
The tale is not over…no not indeed.
For the wise will rule and reign with Him for eternity.
It seems a long saga in the mind of man,
But it is only a breath of time to I AM.
This is a story where you choose your own ending for you see,
You can choose to love and serve God or to serve the enemy.
I give you the free choice to choose life or to choose death.
If you choose Life, a lived happily ever after ending you can expect!

Oh how I love to bask in the sunshine of Your love.

My Life is Kissed by the Son

Even on a rainy day when all looks glum,
I will relax and bask in the Son.
In the sweet heavenly place,
My heart reaches up for His embrace.
I may be tired inside and outside too,
But my whole being has a hunger to in His realm move.
As I take a deep breath of His abiding peace
I feel my energy increased.
Every worry is abandoned and left behind,
As His love and promise fills my mind.
The clouds lift and the flowers bloom again,
Filling my heart with the sweet aroma of Him.
Beside still waters rests my soul,
At rest … content in His sure hold.
New wisdom is poured into the vessel of clay,
Prepared to face yet another day.
Ready and willing to serve my Risen King.
Ready with clean heart to His praises sing.
The clouds are lifted the rain has passed.
The future beacons with new promise leaving behind the past.
A new day and a new time to come;
With full assurance my life is kissed by the Son.
