When troubles come, when dreams fade, when fear begins to taunt, and worry creases your brow; if we listen we will hear the call to worship.  When we heed its call the joy of the Lord is our strength!  When we worship our Lord in the midst of our problems the world’s woes begin to dim.

The Joyful Call to Worship

When the world presses upon you with its heavy hand,
And you find you are becoming tired and weak… happy is the man,
That hears the joyful call to worship God above,
That fills with His presence, His strength, and His love.
Happy is the one that trusts into His care,
Their hopes, dreams, worries and fears in prayer.
Happy is the one that walks and talks in a way,
That leads and shows another how to on God’s path stay.
Happy are those that allow God to speak to them,
That learns His ways and takes His Word within.
Their hearts will be filled with joy even in trying times,
For they have full assurance they are fully Mine.
Come hear the joyful call to worship …when you do,
His love and peace and joy like a river flows inside of you.
