2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
Do You Your Child Resist?
When you tell your child “Come and I will assist” Do you when they obey resist their requests? When you plan for their future, do you plant along the way, Some very unpleasant things for them in their days? When your child comes to spend time with you, Do you trouble and make it unpleasant as you ridicule? When you promise good do you secretly another way plan? Is it your intention to make it hard for your child to understand? Now this seems a little silly, in fact it is as an insult to your ear. But this is a truth I desire for you to hear. I plan good for you. The things you perceive as bad that comes, Is not a trick delivered to you by God’s Son. I am your helper in the world full of sin. I am your Savior, your Lord, and your friend. I am your high-tower in life’s storms. I am your bridegroom that wants to adorn. I favor you, it is good in every way; So be assured by the Word expect good things when you pray.
I give thanks and praise for all things good comes from You.
I used to expect trouble, kind of like Murphy’s Law. I expected to fail, and I did. I have since learned to hope for what God’s Word says. I expect the God that loved us so much He died for our sins to finish the work He started. I no longer live anticipating bad news; I am living the Good News watching and expecting for God’s provision and His intervention.
Expectancy is Another Word for Faith
My hope for the future is colored bright. I expect wrongs will be changed to right. In every difficult step we take I expect new strength in renewed faith. Hope and expectation holds unto faith’s hand. The three unite to accomplish God’s plan. Just as we hope for a child, we in faith expect, Our beautiful God-given gift. Love grants what we have faith to receive. God gave all we can hope for to set us free. When down in the dumps and hope and expectancy is low; Faith in God’s love lifts me up and it will not let me go. Hope is renewed like a fresh rain on parched ground, And expectancy for God’s favor again is found. Faith looks up and will not look back God’s love again, pulls hope, expectation, and faith; united back on track.
1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
