He is Beautiful By Brenda Drake

He is Beautiful

In this world there are many things for the eyes to see,
The colors are lovely displayed endlessly;
The sky is blue some would say,
But I’ve seen countless color-combinations on display.
The mountains can tinted green, brown or white,
Or blue, pink or purple to cause watching eyes delight.
Water seems at times blue, brown and green too,
The shades of trees, grasses and flowers amaze you.
But when a glimpse comes to reveal,
The Treasure of Heaven and His touch you feel;
There is nothing that can compare.
All life’s treasures are found there.
Jesus is beautiful, so beautiful; in wonder we become aware,
That so great and so amazing is the gift He shares.
His love gave His life to give life to the lost.
He suffered to pay our debt of sin on the cross.
He is beautiful, so beautiful is all my heart can say.
All I am and ever will be is invested in His name.
I am free to live with eyes able now to behold,
All the beauty that this life can hold.
And I am able to recognize the One who lit the way for me
So His beauty is evident in all that I see.

John 8:12
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

He Did it All for You By Brenda Drake

There is no greater feeling than the moment we truly realize Jesus suffered and died for us.  The wages of sin is death; He paid the debt we could never pay.  Because He lives we are able to live a life set free from sin and forever blessed.  The truth is; He did it all for you!

He Did it All for You

Mary poured her life’s earnings on Jesus head,
An unknown man prepared a place at the Master’s request.
Judas made the decision to plan,
The betrayal of the Son of man.
The disciples listened but did not hear,
They followed but soon ran away in fear.
Jesus prayed in the garden; by himself set aside,
He wept with great agony inside.
Peter along with his friends,
Slept and could not keep watch with Him
Judas arrived with a great crowd of men,
With the sign of a kiss he directed them.
Like a pure innocent lamb,
They angrily delivered the Son of man;
Into a biased court to be crucified;
Jesus God’s Son for each of them would die.
Peter was reminded of the Master’s prediction,
That he would deny Him with great conviction.
The world about us is doing the same things,
Some serve, some deny, and some betray the King.
But the truth is Jesus loved us all so much,
He died and rose again to administer His touch.
His touch forgives and makes new,
All that hear and believe; He did it all for you.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

1 John 2:2
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
