When you begin to feel shabby and of little consequence, remember who you are now in Christ. Believe me, it is anything but shabby we are beautiful and of great value to our Lord. As we study the Word we get a glimpse of the great commission to share the Good News with others.
Finished to Perfection
Finished to perfection, Filled with the light of holy conviction, Moved to royalty; to the most honored place, All provided by God’s amazing grace. Lovely to behold, bought at a great price, Paid for by Jesus’ sacrifice. The temple is readied; it is filled with great light, Causing the Lord great pleasure and delight. The days are numbered. Heavens residents are prepared, To welcome in joy to with them share. There is a remnant positioned to cause a stir, Spreading the good news; speaking forth God’s Word. At war; with a prayer on the lips, armor in place, sword drawn, And with eyes opened to follow the One they depend on. Surely you will be in the number of the holy procession, Of the army of the chosen finished to perfection.
2 Corinthians 5: 17-18 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
I know how it feels like to feel insignificant in our large world. But now because of Jesus’ work on the cross, and the knowledge of the truth of His plan of salvation; He has made known the great value He sees in every soul.
He Will Use Even a Feather
A feather’s weight barely exists, It a tiny ant can lift. It may go unnoticed – no one acknowledges it, It seems of no use, of little benefit. But it is still a feather it has a place. It takes up its own amount of space. <<<>>> You perhaps feel like a feather’s worth; Carrying very little-weight upon the earth. You too may feel unnoticed and that no one cares, And the world passes you by unaware. <<<>>> But I tell you feathers can cause a great stir; When the winds blow it travels undisturbed. Feathers can cause a big man to fall to his knees, When blown in the eye; up the nose it causes a great sneeze. A feather can grace a grand bouquet or adorn a queen’s hat. It becomes a small child’s greatest treasure in fact. <<<>>> Your life is very important, it is of great worth. Because of your existence, Jesus came to the earth. He esteems your profound value and He died to pay for your sins. So He could use ( every supposed feather) to glorify him. <<<>>> Come and allow God to show you that this word is so. Allow Him to be of your life in control.
Psalms 139:14:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
The Ten Commandments were written in stone. Now Jesus has written His will on the walls of our heart as we stand on the rock solid promise of the truth of salvation written in the Word of God.
Written in Stone
You have heard “it is written in stone.” Meaning its truth stands alone. It will not change. What written down, Is rock-solid truth that is sound. The world may alter the Word to mean what they desire, But it really has not changed what God requires. The world may shun the Word as untrue, But it does not change the mind of the One who gave it to you. It may be coined as old fashioned, outdated, or unnecessary, But on the contrary they will always be. When your name is written in the book of life, There you stay because of the blood of Christ. He is the Rock, He is the law and the ransom paid; So the one under the law’s penalty may be saved. It is written in stone, and in the Father’s hand, By the love of God; just as He has planned. Written in stone… the blood above every hearts door, Marks the proof they are the possession and the work of the Lord.
2 Corinthians 3:7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
I remember working hard trying to receive a smile of approval from my earthly father. My concept of God was tainted by the harshness of my experiences when young. Even after I received the gift of salvation, I acted much the same way as I did back then. I toiled extra hard to please my heavenly Father too. Just as when I was growing I did not feel I was doing well and was disappointing God. I now know He smiled upon me before I was born. I do not need to work for His love and approval. Jesus already loved me enough to die for my every lack and sin. He knew I could never be pleasing without His help. My heavenly Father’s smile is always upon me because of my Lord’s work in my behalf.
All Because of God’s Smile
It all started because of God’s smile on man; Hope lifted up high and beheld His plan. His love smiles down in favor each day, Inviting, and calling, to behold the Way. All because of His smile light shines within, The blind beholds and recognizes the darkness of sin. n this special appointed time, There is sweet release of soul, heart, body, and mind. Salvation’s smile of mercy and grace, Draws seeking hearts to God’s embrace. There the joy knows no bounds. The lost is indeed found. Heaviness vanishes, with new awareness and new life, Introduced to cause sweet inner delight. A warm settling of assurance; all is right with your soul, As new direction and new purpose overflows and unfolds. All because of a smile pointed your way is this story true; Your thanks, praise, and worship is a smile to Him from you. Go forth and deliver the gift of love to another. Preach the Gospel so God’s smile is by another discovered.
Numbers 6:24-26 The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
