I have never felt more loved than at the place of the revelation of the jeopardy of my soul, for my Lord rushed in to assure me of His provision to cleanse me of all unrighteousness. The beauty of His plan proved a love much greater than I could ever imagine. Oh how I love Him who first loved me.
Love Story By Brenda Drake
I was poor, so poor; I had filthy rags upon my back. I lived in the gutters of life, I had great lack. My eyes were blind and unseeing. My ears were stopped; I was a hopeless and unbelieving. The future was dark; there was bitter cold within me. All was futile I had no one to befriend me. My past was sad, the present a farce. Negative would rule over any positive in my heart. I was fully aware of my stain, I barely could lift up my heart in the shame. But along came the most wondrous expression of love and grace; That reached out and invited me into His embrace. My every sin He knew and He showed me the great price, He paid for my salvation when He gave His life. He reached out and lifted me to beside Him stand, And He declared I was new and whole as He had always planned. He gave me His robe of righteousness, pure, clean and white. And introduce me to His Father as His bride. He bestowed upon me gifts; promises good and true, Of things He has planned ahead for us to do. He sent His love to dwell within to bring comfort my soul. And He promised He would of my life take full control. He said He goes ahead to prepare a place and will return again. There is no greater love than between God and those He calls friends.
Ephesians 3:17-19 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
When you begin to feel shabby and of little consequence, remember who you are now in Christ. Believe me, it is anything but shabby we are beautiful and of great value to our Lord. As we study the Word we get a glimpse of the great commission to share the Good News with others.
Finished to Perfection
Finished to perfection, Filled with the light of holy conviction, Moved to royalty; to the most honored place, All provided by God’s amazing grace. Lovely to behold, bought at a great price, Paid for by Jesus’ sacrifice. The temple is readied; it is filled with great light, Causing the Lord great pleasure and delight. The days are numbered. Heavens residents are prepared, To welcome in joy to with them share. There is a remnant positioned to cause a stir, Spreading the good news; speaking forth God’s Word. At war; with a prayer on the lips, armor in place, sword drawn, And with eyes opened to follow the One they depend on. Surely you will be in the number of the holy procession, Of the army of the chosen finished to perfection.
2 Corinthians 5: 17-18 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
Is there a greater story to tell? Is there a more beautiful love story? Is there a greater goal to reach? When we stop to think about it there is nothing as important… The wonder of it all!
The Wonder of it All
The wonder of it all is more than we can know; The One that made the world knows every soul. He loves with a never-ending desire, To warm every heart with His love’s fire. His love is respectful; it will not force us to serve. He lovingly directs us with the wooing of the Word. This love leads and guides us to Salvation’s plan. Then, makes us new and writes our name on His hand. Angels are assigned to each child born anew, As the Holy Spirit inside them moves. Love jealously watches over those that are in Jesus alive; Those who are prepared to be His bride. Just like their Savior, they die to self-will, To the Heavenly Father’s plan fulfill. They are ready, willing and able, because of His ability within, To carry forth the Good News; to draw others to Him. There are givers and takers, God is glorified each day. The wonder of it all is Love planned it all that way.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
1 John 3:1-3 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
