Life is indeed a gift, but new-life is the greatest gift. Because of Jesus we are most blessed in this life and in the next. He gave His life so we could have eternal life with Him. At times I can hardly wait for the promised joys ahead. But really heaven would not be heaven without Jesus the Lover of our soul.
You Will Run to Me
by Brenda Drake
Poverty of heart is those who do not know,
The divine-destination of their soul.
To know Salvation is to be rich in favor;
Its message is greatly savored.
When your life on earth is over and you are released.
The soul soars to eternal peace.
Great is the day that most dread,
When you are prepared for the journey ahead.
Life is a gift when wisely spent.
It is an offering that returns and is heaven-sent.
Your body is new; no more pain in heart or mind.
All worry, fear, and torment is left behind.
You are free to soar to the One you adore,
Everything fine and true within is restored.
Massive ability is now yours to keep,
It will be like wings on your feet.
You have eyes that observe what could not be known.
With wondrous adventure and mysteries to be shown.
The first thing you desire when you come through heaven’s door,
Is seek the embrace and the face of the Lord.
He will be the greatest sight you will see,
Have no doubt when you arrive you will run to Me.
1 Peter 1:8-9
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy
unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
