            God so loved the world He sent His Son Jesus to die to save all who would receive Jesus and would believe in the work He accomplished on the cross.  Because He died for every man, woman, and child we need to treat every person as precious property of God.  We are very wise if we handle each person with care.

Handle With Care

The package’s message is very clear,
It says “Fragile, handle with care.”
Extra effort is needed to move it from one place to another.
When precious it is carefully wrapped and fully covered.
The gift travels many miles perhaps;
In its journey through many hands it may pass.
Everyone that touches it makes the choice to treat it with care,
Or, too harshly handle…. of its treasure unaware.

Now in this word is also a truth for all to see,
Each person is fragile and very important to Me,
I love them all so very much;
I form and cover them with love’s touch.
I breathed into them eternal life forevermore.
Each individual is created to glorify the Lord.
Each person is fully covered by the Blood of the Lamb;
So they are able to arrive safely into Kingdom land.
But some arrive broken and tainted by sin and shame,
For in their free choice they have rejected Jesus’ name.
Since you the contents within every heart are left unaware;
My request is to handle each person with care.

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you,
that ye also love one another.

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love;
in honour preferring one another;

Whisper of Time By Brenda Drake

         God does so much so we can hear the call of the Spirit; wooing, and drawing us to Him.  He gives us a life-time and the choice to say yes…or no.  His voice whispers in every part of our life.  His love is so great He descended from heaven to shout His invitation and provision to become His from the cross.  Have you made the decision to answer His call?  

Whisper of Time

We only hear a small whisper of Him; so great and mighty is He,
As a babe He entered our atmosphere so His face we could see.
All creation listens to the voice of I AM,
For the existence of time is in His hand.
Every flower, every tree, every creature great and small
The God of love has created and named them all.
He speaks in every language under the sun;
Every man or woman He bids to come.
So great is His desire to be of us a part;
He whispers encouragement to be allowed into our heart.
The love of God is great and its span so wide,
He has granted us free choice to allow Him inside.
Hear Him in the thunder; hear Him in life’s pain,
Hear Him in your trouble; He whispers your name.
Hear Him in the stormy day and in days when all is well.
Hear Him in the Word of God inspired to His love story tell.
Listen to the sweet sounds of wisdom when it arrives at your door.
It is always knocking with words delivered from the Lord.
He is, was and ever will be,
The realm of time is only a whisper of eternity.

Revelations 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

NO Muddy Waters By Brenda Drake

            In the sinful world it is a hard to stay clean.  With God we are able to not only stay clean we are able to show others how too.  Because of Jesus work on the cross we are free from the foul hold of the world and the dangers of its sinful, murky waters.  Because of Jesus we are able to live and to drink daily of His goodness. 

No Muddy Waters

Muddy waters are a murky place to be;
It is no place to try to stay clean.
The world tries to pass some areas as best.
But they will never pass God’s stink test.
The rich and famous may gather all dressed up fine,
Very comfortable and seemingly having a great time,
But the waters are muddy filled with debris,
They are foul and displeasing to Christ the King.
Some make plans to take advantage of the time;
By wadding in the world’s murk and grime.
Foul jokes, lies, with lust and greed there;
Proud looks haughty; superior attitudes are with each other shared.
The muddy, murky waters are in other places too.
But God has given great ability to you.
With a life dedicated to God and a prepared place for Him to dwell,
You have a river flowing; living waters from a deeper well.
You are able to live in the world of mire,
With heart pure filled with humble desire.
Wrong attitudes and the traps of sin,
Are quickly repented so harmful waters are not taken in.
The world offers its worst and its best to tempt and steal souls.
But have no fear of the dark waters of the evil one when God is in control.

1 John 2:15-16
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

John 7:38
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Be Strong IAM is With You By Brenda Drake

In my own strength I have to admit I am a wimp; but with Jesus I am strong.  With Jesus behind me, for me and in me how could I still be described as a wimp!  As long as I remember Jesus is the One who helps me fight my battle I am able to claim I am more than a conqueror.

Be Strong, I AM is With You

Be strong, alert, and courageous, I AM is with you.
With God on your side you are able to more than this do.
Strong means to trust God is in you strong;
With His strength you will sing victory songs.
Alert means to stay focused on Christ;
Ready, willing, and able, to in His strength fight.
Courageous means you know God is for you and He lives within.
With fearless determination you know because you belong to Him.
He is with you, in you and walks ahead.
He fights your battles when you are Spirit led.
Be strong, alert, and courageous and you will see,
God is with you indeed.
The world flexes its muscles but God laughs at its display.
Soon all will know the truth in its terrible array.
Place your faith in the Word; adhere to its wisdom from above,
And you will one day be face to face with the Word; enraptured by His love.

Ephesians 6:10-11
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Someone to Look Up To By Brenda Drake

An unnoticed hero may be someone you have known all your life.  A beautiful love story; in it innocence that would far surpasses your imagination may be left undiscovered. The needed advice, the word of wisdom, and your quest for acceptance and understanding might be as close as the one you walk by.  There are so many that are feeling unloved and unwanted all around you that could just be the person you need to speak too. God has so many of his helpers ready and willing to be of service.  Be kind to the older generation, you can learn about life, love and from the Christian faith and hope of a forever future with God.    

Someone to Look Up To

Do you desire to see the strong man- the one that carries much weight?
Do you want to see the wise man; full of knowledge and full of faith?
Do you like to hear old stories- tales full of victory?
Do you like to pour over volumes rich in history?
The world rushes about searching for all of this and more;
Looking past the aged man or woman of the Lord.
In their search for answers they need to see;
The rich source of wisdom, encouragement, and faith in the elderly.
They are indeed stronger than you may believe is true.|
They are also much wiser than at first glance you may think too.
They are rich in accomplishments and know from where increase comes
They are the most reliable history book for the young;
So the next time you find you are searching for someone to look up too
Look down to the one that perhaps is bent over in the pew next to you!

Psalms 84:7
They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

The Flower of Eternal Life By Brenda Drake

I love flowers for their beauty and for their fragrance; and I am disappointed when they wilt and die.  I surround myself with artificial flower arrangements for their lasting beauty but would much more appreciate the real ones.  God makes us all beautiful and a forever bloom in His kingdom. 

The Flower of Eternal Life

On earth a flower’s beauty fades
On the vine it does not forever stay.
Its promise of pleasure is no more,
Its lovely attributes fall to the earth’s floor.
Flowers on earth are presented as gifts.
The aroma of some, are hard to resist.
Lovely to look at and lovely to smell,
Each bloom has its own story to tell.
Just so are the children in the land.
The flower of youth proudly stands.
But beauty fades and droops down,
With or without sweet aroma also fall to the ground.
But there is a Flower that forever blooms.
He is, was and is coming soon.
He lived, loved, and died for man;
So His life and His love you could understand.
Because you are His and He is in You,
You are now a flower in full bloom.
A forever flower, eternal life lives within.
Because He is life, and You are one with Him,
You are the flower I send to grace the table of the lost;
Full of good fruit that shows the way to God’s love on the cross.

Mountains Moved By Brenda Drake

I am weak but in God I am strong. I cannot in my power climb the mountains in my path but with faith in God I can the mountains move.  The Lord is my help and He has given us His promises in the Word, all we need to do is believe them and stand strong in the knowledge of His divine favor.

Mountains Moved

Mountains are moved out of the way,
Just believe the Word as you pray.
Poverty is a mountain to hold back,
It muddles the road of progress so you lose track.
Speak the Word’s promises in prayer for God’s supply,
And the road to success is not denied.
Sickness is a mountain that also sends threats,
It encourages desperation and fosters neglect.
You are a mountain-mover, refuse old age’s woes.
You are God’s anointed from head to toe.
Get up with thanksgiving in each new day.
Chase the aches and pains away.
The promises in the Scriptures speak,
God heals and gives strength to those that seek.
The Word keeps in mountain in check.
Thwarting the enemies plans for disaster and havoc,|
Pray for peace but remember to alert stay;
Put on God’s armor and be ready to fight as you pray.
Remember this is how your battles are won.
Trust God and have faith in every skirmish God’s will is done.
Death’s threat is a mountain all will one day cross.
When you belong to Jesus its threat is lost.
Each day the flesh is crucified mountains cannot hold you back;
For the spirit-man like Jesus walks through the walls in his path.

Matthew 17:20
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Put on the New Man By Brenda Drake

            It is easy to recognize the old man now that I am born anew.  What I once was I am no more.  However it is a daily choice who I allow to rule my life; my old sinful nature or to be the vessel filled with Jesus who is my life, joy, and peace.

Put on the New Man

You know all the signs when flesh makes a stand;
Do not hesitate, put on the new man.
The new man will not speak the hard words that condemn;
He pushes the evil temptation away from him.
When the flesh is provoked and is ready to fight,
The new man with armor in place puts it to flight.
Who is the new man we speak of today?
It is Jesus in you that is obeyed.
The new man is one with Jesus the Christ;
The new man is alive and in His light.
When the old man revives his ugly head,
The new man reminds him he is dead.
Put on the new man at each days new start,
Allow Jesus to rule and reign in your heart.
You will find practice makes perfect as the Word says;
Jesus is always with you and is your help when by the Spirit led.    

Ephesians 3:22-24
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness

Whisper: I speak life into you.

Romans 6:4-5
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.  For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

The Word Was Spoken

The stone was rolled away…the seal was broken.
The sentence of death was conquered…the Word was spoken.
The sacrifice for the sins of the lost,
Satisfied their debt – paid by Christ on the cross.
Jesus the Anointed One, sinless in every way,
Could not in the dark tomb stay.
His followers followed without truly knowing what to do,
But the Lord of Creation always knew,
That He who died would live in them,
And that they too were to be a part of Him.
A holy people made new and whole,
A holy nation of priests under His control.
What a great work was done on the cross for man.
A magnificent gift of love delivered by I AM.
What great joy comes to the hearts that see the empty tomb,
For they know He is risen, He lives, and He is coming back soon.

I am a new creature I am born-again and will rule and reign with Jesus.

Dying Love By Brenda Drake

We have heard of undying love and have witnessed examples of love that has withered- up and died.  But what I desire to expound on is the Love that died to prove His undying love for us. Such love is almost impossible to wrap our minds around but we can and must grasp onto its truth before we can be a part of its magnificence.

Dying Love

When we think of dying love it is sad:
We think of a love that has lost the fervor it once had.
When it is dead it is tossed aside;
It stinks and causes hurt and bitterness inside.
Love is precious; it is a gift to treasure.
When nurtured and kept in high honor it causes great pleasure.
I tell of another love that is greater than any other kind.
Its magnitude and breadth could blow your mind.
This love was sacrificed to set you free.
It chose to die on a rugged tree.
This love did not diminish in its act.
Although it poured out, it draws us back.
Jesus loved enough to pay the sin-debt we could never pay.
His love encompasses us tight so we would not be tossed away.
God so loved the world He gave His own Son,
So whosoever-will, would believe to also love come.
Dying love takes on a whole new meaning for you see,
True love is a forever gift from God to thee.
Dying to self-will to serve Jesus is to also serve others.
Then His self-sacrificing kind of love is discovered.

1 John 4:19-21
We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.-
