The Trouble with Troubles By Brenda Drake

He Carries our burdens

            The trouble with troubles is they are cumbersome and boggle the heart and mind.  The Word tells us to not let our hearts be troubled.  God has all things in His control.  A troubled heart does not successfully sing praises, for joy has fled.

The Trouble with Troubles

The trouble with trouble is the troubled mind,
Is filled with irritating thoughts; not as God designed.
The imagination stretches into every possible solution.
It is not as God desires…it is mind pollution.
Most of the time the answer you cannot see.
You need to place your trust in me.
The worrisome planning, and the what to do time spent,
Is not profitable. From its toil repent.
For when you cause to your head extra toil,
The acid in your stomach causes it to spoil.
Then you are unhappy in every way;
The added stress of worry ruins your day.
Praises are halted and joy has fled,
All because you did not obey what the Word has said.
Do you not know God is in control?
He is on your side you have been told,
All things turn for the best in the end;
When you are His and He lives within.
The trouble with troubles carried alone by yourself,
Is they are heavy and you need some help.
Remember, nothing is too hard for me my friend.
Have faith and watch me take care of them.

Psalms 42:5
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted in me?  Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of His countenance

2 Corinthians 1:2-4
Grace be to you and peace from God our father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.  Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort: Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
