When Your Heart is Troubled By Brenda Drake

        There is trouble on all sides … John 16:33  These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.  He has already won our battle…we just need to believe and have trust and faith that He is our help in time of trouble.

When Your Heart is Troubled

When your heart is troubled and the cares of life are high;
There is a need for prayer, do not let opportunity slip by.
When the body stresses nerves taut, and the tongue is sharp to the ear;
Faith diminishes, and then enters even more anxiety and fear.
The sad thing about worry is only the circumstances you see;
They wrap chains around your mind; from it you will need to be freed.
Prayer is communication, talk to your God above,
By His sacrifice in your behalf He proved His enduring love.
If you trust Him for salvation… trust Him for the rest.
When you are His, He is always looking for your best.
Prayer is effectual when you believe
That your words are heard, and that good you receive.
Faith is a tool of prayer; it does not depend on your words as much,
As your confidence in the One you pray to; in whom you trust.
When you become overburdened why hesitate?
God’s Word assures He answers the prayer of faith.
Give thanks for your answered prayer, this by faith do.
When it is all over you will see God has seen you through

Matthew 21:22
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Philippians 4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God.

Psalms 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
