We need to take time for our body to rest; to take time to study, and to pray, praise, and worship the Lord.  But there is never a time we are instructed to take time off from opportunity to speak the truth of the Word of God and testify the Good News of Christ.

Be Ready At All Times

Be ready at all times to spread the Good News of Christ;
For it is an appointed time to enrich another’s life.
With heart filled with truth another’s life is touched without plan,.
Ready when the sun shines and in the rain;
Ready in times of joy or in time of pain,
Ready when fully awake and when weary and weak;
The obedient grateful heart is willing to the truth speak.
in the time of trouble when amongst hard regulative days,
The heart loving sounds of Salvation sings in whispered praise.
Ready early in the day and late at night;
The truly worshipful heart in God delights.
The young need to hear it, the old just the same;
Do not hesitate at any time to lift up Jesus’ name.
The rich need to hear it as do the poor;
Every man, woman, and child need to hear to know the Lord.
At every birth and death celebration, and every occasion too,
Be ready, willing and obedient to take advantage of the opportunity given you.

2 Timothy 4:1-2
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Deuteronomy 6:5-7
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
