Whisper: By faith you behold great things.

1 Peter 1:8-9
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

By Faith I See

By faith I see Jesus walking by my side,
Encouraging to remember I am His bride.
 He faithfully prepares my steps;
To trust in His care and to good things expect,
To keep my heart full and His promises treasure.
And to not fear, worry or become anxious beyond measure,
By faith I watch for His soon return,
Carefully I check my lamp so His fire burns.
By faith my garments are white and clean not stained,
For I ask to be shown sin so they do not remain.
I go to the water and take a deep drought of its flow.
By faith I offer my heart, body, mind and soul.
I rejoice and sing songs of love I by faith believe;
My God accepts and in delight receives.
By faith I see my Lord whispering to my listening ear,
Come, my faithful servant thy Bridegroom is near.
My heart rises in expectation when I see with faith’s eyes,
The day when the faithful and the dead in Christ rise.
My faith sometimes seems weak but at times raises to great heights;
Like an eagle it climbs when it is renewed by new insight.

Father give me eyes of faith to always see the goodness of the Lord.

The Light By Brenda Drake

We need the Light of the Lord as the world it seems to getting darker and darker each day.
As we draw close to Jesus we are able to see He is also the way to eternal peace and safety.

The Light

Jesus is the Light of the world, but what I want to say,
He is the light in my world each and every day.
Jesus is Life and the way to the Father above,
But to me the truth is His life paved the way to love.
Jesus is Master, Creator, Savior, Lord of Lords and King of Kings,
But He is to me everything that makes my heart sing.
Jesus, the name above all names; at His name all will bow.
But my choice is I choose to honor and praise Him now.
He is provider, and lover of our souls.
He is the love that through us overflows.
He is bread for the hungry and drink for those who thirst.
He satisfies the heart-hunger to those that place Him first.
Jesus is The Song of Salvation that will forever play;
He is the joy of salvation that forever stays.
He carries all our burdens and answers prayer.
Because of who He is of all things He is aware.
He is the flower of heaven and He seeks His bride;
To walk eternally with Him at His side.
The light shines in the darkness to gather all who come.
For all who search for answers in life: He is the One.
He is the One who is everything you ever will need.
He is the increase and He is the seed.
Jesus is the Light of the world it is true,
The only question you need to ask, is He the light in you?

John 14:1-4
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

I see ahead so many things by faith. I believe God hears and answers prayer.  I believe the Word of God; because I believe the Word I not only see it I receive it!  Do you believe God has blessed you and your family? Do you believe God has blessed our Nation?  Do you believe He has heard our collective repentance and answers our prayers for His will to be done? Can you or do you see by faith the great revival that is going to sweep over our world?  I do. I believe and now I see it on the horizon ahead.   

Believe To See it

Some say “To see it is to believe it”
But you truly must believe to see it.
Many with eyes open stumble through life,
And refuse to see or believe in Jesus Christ.
Their heart’s eyes are blind and other senses dulled.
Darkness and sin against the truth pulls.
Prayer and a steady example set will find,
That truth faithfully spoken may sink-in with time.
When you believe you will truly see,
The treasures that you are to receive.
Salvation is the greatest gift bestowed;
For new life is the treasure God foretold.
Believe and you will see so many things;
All health, wealth, and strength come from the King.
Believe and you will see darkness flee before your eyes;
The dull senses are refreshed and revived.
You will hear the heart-cry of another.
You will speak words-wise to help them discover.
You will pray with new fervor and expectation,
And speak the truth with conviction without hesitation.
When you believe you indeed will see.
Your God’s hand working for and through thee,

John 11:40

A Prayer for Us and Our Nation By Brenda Drake

Only God can heal us or a Nation.  He hears and answers prayer. We in turn need to believe to receive.
If and when we truly have repented our sin we need to look up in faith for the answer to come. At times we are all guilty of leaning to our own understanding and get into the murky waters of depression, worry and fear. Our answer is to pray for God’s help again!

A Prayer for Us and Our Nation

Pick us up out of the murky place.
Clean our dirty garments of worry that disgrace.
Fear and anxiety have muddied our mind;
Lord with Your help we can leave them behind.
Heaviness of heart has dimmed our vision too;
Fill us with the joy that only comes from You.
Improve our outlook deep inside;
Fan our faith’s fires; keep our dreams alive.
Chase away the clouds of darkness with the light of Your favor,
For, depression must flee when God’s presence is savored.
Dig us out of the pit of self-pities trap.
Set our face to purpose that keeps us on track.
Lord with You we are able to soar to great heights.
In You we are able to cause and to be a delight.
Our life is as a living sacrifice offered for Christ our King.
As You rescue us again, only You cause our hearts to sing.

2 Chronicles 7:14-15
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.  Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place

He Rides the Waves with Me By Brenda Drake

Life is a gift, although sometimes it feels like a troublesome gift.  When we realize we do not need to go it alone, there is a certain joy and assurance our Lord is at our side.  He is also our strength inside.  It is very possible with the Holy Spirit’s help to give thanks and sing His praises no matter what we face.

He Rides the Waves with Me

I walk with God in the light of the living,
Ever on the forever path; singing, loving and forgiving.
Each day has been prepared as a gift bestowed;
A time to share life, with the One that my life holds.
As we travel, when trouble and trials comes,
I entrust each moment in the hands of the most trustworthy One.
He is stronger than the wind that blows its icy breath.
He has already conquered the dreaded threat of death.
My God is able to calm the troubled sea,
Or He is willing to ride the waves with me.
With His Word He speaks to the enemy of my soul.
With His Word on my lips He is in control.
I walk with God toward the place I call home.
He assures all who believes need never walk alone.
We walk so close sometimes we use the same steps.
He will carry me through heaven’s door as His bride the closer we get.

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Love’s Light By Brenda Drake

          The world as we know it has been turned upside down.  What God said is dark is called light. What
God detests the world has declared good, Things once held dear are now cast aside as no longer valuable. Many churches are lukewarm, and fit in with the world system. The teachings and the presence of the power and authority of the Lord have been stripped from the lives of those who attend. Children of God need to stand and boldly profess the Word of God as they live a life that agrees with the Word of God. 

       The Church is at a cross-road; are we as Christians going to lay down our armor and give in to the pressures and the threats of evil control? Or are we going to get busy and pick up our armor? We need to be ready to follow our Lord to fight the forces that are taking our Country and our world into a place of no return. 

      I for one will say with God on my side what have I to lose?  I say I am not weak in God I am strong.  I stand and say I believe and will testify what the Word of God says is right is right.  What the Word of God says is wrong is wrong.  In my stand for right, I also admit God has given every man, woman, and child the free choice to do right or to choose the way of evil.  What is your choice?  If it is for God then stand for Him and boldly say so.  

Love’s Light

In the Light of Love darkness flees.
In His presence the heart receives.
Like a tree planted at the rivers side;
Full and filled vitally alive.
When rain clouds come and they still do,
God becomes a shelter too.
When you feel cold or in a storm,
God’s in control and your heart warms.
There is no place you go,
That your God does not know.
In the low times when you feel dry,
Your God becomes your supply.
As you lift up every problem, trial, and pain,
It is all covered in Jesus’ name.
Sadness, anxiety, worry or fear,
In Love’s Light has to disappear.
Love’s Light is health to heart, mind and soul.
It heals and in you overflows.
The wise abides in the Light of the Son,
As they are revived they also a light becomes.

John 8:12
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

It seems our world is truly darker than ever.  Love spoke into my darkness at salvation.  He speaks us each and every day.  Lord open up our ears to hear what you desire us to do to lead another to the Light of Truth.

Love Speaks into the Darkness

Love spoke into darkness and there was light.
Love speaks into your dark place to give new insight.
Love spoke into existence the world, the moon and stars.
He speaks to your world …He knows where you are.
Love from the cross saw the great need of your soul;
A special place in His heart you hold.
Love has given His life so you can also His love speak.
He has given His Word to the seeking heart that seeks,
Love washes you white as new fallen snow.
His shed blood has made the redeemed new and whole.
Love speaks encouragement and will lift and edify.
Love speaks in so many ways to water the soul parched and dry.
Love has a name Jehovah …God that supplies all you need.
His name is Jesus that saves the one that believes.
His name is Wonderful…. Lord of Lords, King of Kings.
Love speaks into a life and makes it able to His praises sing.

Show and Tell By Brenda Drake

Wake up Church there is a revival in our future. Let us be willing and even eager to show and tell this world God is and always will be in control.

Show and Tell

Small children take things to school for show and tell;
Sometimes it is treasured object that is known by them well.
A special book…or a toy;
Or even a shinny object found nearby.
But the very favorite thing to do,
Is to show their pet if allowed to bring to school.
So great is their excitement when,
It’s their turn to show their treasure to their friends.

It is time for the Church to show and tell.
It’s time for them to share their faith as well.
Show others the Light of God’s love by your smile.
Show your complete trust and appreciation just like the small child.
Tell of your blessings and testify salvation’s plan.
When you love your brethren… God’s love they’ll understand.
Take time to sing God’s praises and remember …expect good to come;
For your faith shared with others show the works God has done.

Psalma 66:16
Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.

Psalms 22:22
I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

Lies From the Father of Lies By Brenda Drake

I believe You my Lord I stand on the Word of God.

In our troubled world there are so many words, opinions, and downright lies all around us. We cannot lean to our own understanding. We need to trust God and on His Word depend.  

Lies From the Father of Lies

Flat out lies spoken to deceive;
Useless, of no value seeds;
Sown by evil unruly tongues.
A very evil work is done.
A flat out lie man heard from the start.
From God’s enemy, the father of lies evil heart.
He points out every infraction, sin and flaw,
Says you are doomed, and you are a lost cause.
It’s a flat out lie; Jesus loved you so much,
He died to pay your debt of sin to fill with His love.
It is never too late to repent and to change your ways.
Jesus is ready at every moment of every day.
It is a great lie you have committed the unforgivable sin;
If you desire forgiveness, you have not so blasphemed Him.
Read the Word, so His ways you will understand,
Then the seeds of untruth will not grow in your land.

Ephesians 4:27
Neither give place to the devil.
