Only God can cause the hurt in the heart to heal.  Only a loving God can make a heart sing even in a storm.  Only time spent in His presence and in the Word of God can make our heart sing all is well with my soul. Oh how marvelous is the gift of salvation and the invitation to speak our heart to the Giver of life and the keeper of our heart.

When the Silence Sounds New

Early in the morning when the silence sounds new,
When the darkness is lifted and a new day I peek into,
With a fresh cup of coffee and a favorite chair,
I meet with my God who is already there.
It is a time so comfortable when the silence rings.
When the heart of God seeks His redeemed.
A love special, holy, and set apart;
Standing close heart to heart.
He knows my concerns but I still with Him share,
In my times of prayer.
I almost forget the concept of time,
For all that matters is the Eternal God is mine.
He is my dearest and closest friend,
And on Him I fully depend.
Holy and precious – it is different every day I come
Into the Holy presence of God’s Son.
His time is open, He allows me at any time or all day long.
He inspires and fills my heart with song.
Songs of Salvation that sound clear,
That encourage and teach and dispels my worries and fears.
Songs of Salvation that draw close to God’s fire,
With a heart full and filled with holy desire.
