God loved us so much He traveled from heaven to earth to save us from the penalty of sin.  Because of His love we are now free to love Him by loving others.  I know there is great power in love, after all God is Love.  With such an example set before us we surely must practice loving one another.

A Little Love Goes a Long Way

A little love goes a long way;
In a smile or a kind word you say.
With a helping hand at just the right place,
You show God’s love through your face.
A shoulder offered to another’s grief bear,
Also demonstrates love shared
An uttered prayer to forgive a foe or aid a friend,
Is love’s light shining bright again.
An abrasive, biting word checked and held inside,
Shows God’s love in you abides.
To think and speak things good and fine,
Is practicing love as God has designed.
Think on the name of Jesus and all He has done for you.
Stand on God’s Word and rely on its wisdom in all you say and do.
A little love surely does go a long way;
Pass out the Good News each and every day.
Love grows to much more than you are able to see;
Such as an increase in souls that follow you as you follow after me.

Luke 10:27
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

2 Corinthians 9:10
Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
