Pass His Love

A broken heart has a silent plea.
It’s too weak to make verbal request of its need.
But its urgent cry is heard by God above.
At the table of hope, It says “please pass the love.”
There are many who feel lost and on their own,
That sighs at the hours ahead left unknown.
They grow accustomed to the empty space inside;
They feel true love has passed them by.
Many feel worn and torn with a heart that love craves;
In their need they pass their affection to the depraved.
They are neglected, then rejected without a backward glance;
Jaded and degraded by life decisions and circumstance.
Their heart is hungry and they need to hear,
About God’s love and provision so their heartaches disappear.
The Lord of love asks His redeemed to this truth see,
The need to observe hurting souls and to pass holy love out for me

Luke 4:18-19
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
