I have never been a fisherman but I know it is a good day for fishing.

Fisher of Men

Fishing can be a lot of fun,
Relaxing for the old and exciting for the young.
It takes little preparation; the most important thing,
Is to have patience and plentiful bait more than anything.
The fishing the Lord desires  you to do,
Attract another to the water that holds promise for you.
Hearts that hunger for souls will do well.
They draw by the life-testimony they tell.
People have a need deep within;
That hungers to be free from the desperate hold of sin.
Come, let us go fishing allow your day to be
Mindful of souls that are hungry.
Throw out the line (the life-line) to them.
It is done by living what you believe and by being a friend.
Be ready always to share the good news of Christ;
And also be a willing self-sacrifice.
This is the day perhaps for a big catch,
I will go with you for I know right where they’re at.
