It used to feel like a battleground at night for me to get some sleep.  I was so fearful; I would say my repetitive prayers over and over till I fell to sleep.  I prayed but I had no real faith or knowledge of the great love of Jesus.  When I began to learn of His faithfulness, and I began to have faith to trust Him, I was able to get a full night sleep.  There is rest to those who trust in God.

Peace and Trust

A truer word is never said,
God watches for His children’s benefit.
There is no greater love than,
God’s love for man.
The ones saved by grace,
Are drawn into a closer embrace.
God does not turn His gaze away,
He plans carefully each and every day.
God provides for every need that comes.
He molds and shaped till His masterpiece is done.
If the redeemed could but see,
They would truly rest in peace.
Their destination is planned with glory untold.
It shines more than silver and is much more lustrous than gold.
The trusting heart will learn valuable lessons in life,
Without the added burden of bitterness and strife;
For if they know their God cares.
And that He is a God that is just and fair.
Evil done to them will not unnoticed go,
For God is a defender of innocent souls.
When you trust because you belong to His Son;
Even more at peace you become.

Psalms 37:37
Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright:
for the end of that man is peace.

Isaiah 26:3
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee
