No Waiting Lines By Brenda Drake

            I used to feel I needed to act and speak a certain way to get God’s attention. And even then if I gained access I may or may not receive an answer to my petitions.  I now know God loves me and He not only hears every prayer; His desire is to help me in all my needs.  In any place or position is the right time to pray, we have immediate access- no waiting lines.

No Waiting Lines

In the world you must take a ticket and wait in line;
You are not accepted until it’s your time.
No matter the problem you must wait your turn.
If you lose your patience and leave you will have to return;
Start over back to the back and no one even notices you were away.
You must take a ticket and you must in line stay.
Now it does cause order instead of confusion and strife;
t can be tiring… but necessary to do things right.
God does not need long lines nor do you have to wait;
You are accepted immediately into the gates.
Immediate access is guaranteed.
You can run, walk, or enter on your knees.
God is always willing to listen – know this is so.
He is always interested in your life and always in control.
f you fail and feel unworthy… repent and go right on in.
You do not have to work your way up to God again.
Most lose sight of this truth – they believe they must suffer awhile,
Before the God of Heaven, will again upon them smile.
But I tell you earnestly this is not true.
Your God loves you so much – He runs out to meet you.
He says, “Come in prayer and we will commune you and I”
“And I’ll fill you up with my peace and joy.”
“I will take away fear and give you hope and the confidence to testify,”
“To another that they also know they do not need to stand in line!”

Jeremiah 29:12-13
Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Psalms 66:17-20
I cried unto him with my mouth,
and he was extolled with my tongue.
 If I regard iniquity in my heart,
the Lord will not hear me:
 But verily God hath heard me;
he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
 Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer,
nor his mercy from me.
