Your Help and Our Cooperation By Brenda Drake

            Our world at this time causes such turmoil within. Everything seems to be upside down and backwards, with uncertainties on every side.  Just as when Peter stepped out onto the water; we in a sense are doing the same.  But know when we keep our eyes on Jesus and not the waves (circumstances) we are able to accomplish great things. We, the Church are lights in the darkness.  Jesus said His sheep hear His voice.  The Word of God tells us we are more than conquerors in Christ.  With God’s help and our cooperation we will finish well.  With His help we will be His ambassadors in a trouble land so His will is done on earth as it is in heaven.  This poem is my prayer.  I believe Holy Spirit desired me to write it as our prayer.

Your Help and Our Cooperation

Teach us how to cooperate with Your plan.s
Help us to pray knowing with Your help we can.
As our everyday problems arise,
Help us see the situations through Your eyes.
With Your help and our cooperation Thy will is done;
Then and only then, are we able to glorify God’s Son.
Take us to the place when each day becomes,
A joint effort with You and us to get things done.
Holy, precious, Jesus our heart’s desire,
Is to become vessels of use, to catch the world afire.
One day at a time walking to the place,
Where we are able to fully feel Your embrace.
Lover of our souls, build us up strong,
So even in a troubled world we will sing Salvation’s song.
Take us and make us into an ambassador for Christ;
That serves heart, mind, and soul with our life.
Light up the dark places to help us see clear.
Open up our hearts and minds to Your instructions hear.
With Your help and our cooperation Your will on earth is done.
When it is all over we will give all glory and honor to Jesus, God’s Son.

Romans 12:11-13
Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.

2 Corinthians 4:7-10
But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.
