The greatest day is the day You revealed Yourself to me.
How Far Could He See
Sorely beaten; upon his head a thorny crown roughly placed;
Great spikes pierced His flesh, His beard torn from His face;
Nailed on a cross with a sign above clearly seen.
A sea of faces: some crying, some mocking; evil, and mean.
Raised up with thieves, one on each side,
As a mass of people waited for them to die.
On His back, every sin of every man was known.
The perfect Son of God called each one His own.
How far could He see?” is the question asked.
He saw exactly where you are at.
He saw far into the future and as far back as sin’s start.
He accepted the penalty of each one so He could reign in your heart.
Every sin, every shame, every inability,
He saw and paid for at Calvary.
But great is the day when man’s opened eyes know,
Jesus raised so His new life in and through them could overflow.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Corinthians 6:20
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
2 Corinthians 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the
righteousness of God in him.
