God Wants  All Your Heart by Brenda Drake

A small part most desire to give;
They hold on to the largest part, as they profess they are His.
Self is served most of the time.
They share only small moments to with God align.
They say a prayer if they see a problem ahead,
But sometimes they wait too long; till they are way over their heads
Some place a day aside if there is no other thing to do.
If asked, do you serve God; they would say it is true.
The vices and sinful pleasures they tuck safely away,
Their hearts and minds wander even when they pray.
A future of hard places will need to be overcome.
They are blinded by the evil one.
Complacent, with consciences dull and blind,
Fully deceived; they think they are doing fine.
They point out, that at least they say Jesus’…

Whisper: Who is in control of your life?

Romans 8:14
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Masterfully Arranged

Masterfully arranged by the One in control;
The Father of creation – the lover of every soul.
The whole universe and the world of man,
Is expertly held in His hand.
He has moved over, under, and through,
Everything that applies to you.
His love encompasses every soul that walks the earth.
He attends every funeral and every birth.
His love has a plan always in mind,
For you and your salvation are in His design.
To make possible for a soul to be saved,
Jesus His Son His life willingly gave.
He left heaven’s glory to be born of a virgin pure;
To grow and wax strong to man’s sin endure.
The world He was born to die for,
Was formed by the hand of the Lord.
When you celebrate with family and friends,
The life and birth of the Savior do you carry His love within?
If and when you give gifts to those you love,
Are you able to show the way to receive the gift sent from above?
Are you allowing Him full control of your life?
By accepting the provision of His sacrifice?
He masterfully has brought you to decision again.
Have you? Will you submit your life to Him?

I desire and choose Your will done in and through me.

Something is Stirring By Brenda Drake

The Church as a whole has been asleep. I know I have been awakened to some hard truths of our lax and lukewarm ways. The power and authority of the Holy Spirit has been neglected and even in many instances ignored, denied, or and even restricted to move within the walls of congregations. Something is stirring… Our Lord is on the move, a change is coming.

Somethings Stirring

There’s something stirring … waters are beginning to part;
A bit of excitement is bubbling in the heart.
The sleeping giant is beginning to awake;
The cords that have bound will soon break.
The enemy has been ruining things much too long,
But his success story will be proved wrong.
For out of her slumber the bride hungers for her Lord.
She will be stronger than ever before.
Wake up My bride it’s been a while.
It is time to put on your victory smile.
Pick up your armor …it is time to fight.
With your garments of praise the enemy takes flight.
Put on your robe of righteousness,
God’s will for your life confess.
Speak the Word and you will see,
That indeed the enemy will flee.
The world has watched the church struggle in the past;
But now they see her strength at last.
Her strength is Jesus and all He has done.
Her holiness is the work of God’s Son.
Finally she sees her place,
Is only possible because of His grace.
Her light shines out His love now that she is refreshed.
Love’s light is causing the excitement as Jesus’ name is confessed.
Something’s stirring in the atmosphere.
The call comes. …Sleeping bride do you hear?

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come,

1 Peter 1:8-9
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

By Faith I See

By faith I see Jesus walking by my side,
Encouraging to remember I am His bride.
 He faithfully prepares my steps;
To trust in His care and to good things expect,
To keep my heart full and His promises treasure.
And to not fear, worry or become anxious beyond measure,
By faith I watch for His soon return,
Carefully I check my lamp so His fire burns.
By faith my garments are white and clean not stained,
For I ask to be shown sin so they do not remain.
I go to the water and take a deep drought of its flow.
By faith I offer my heart, body, mind and soul.
I rejoice and sing songs of love I by faith believe;
My God accepts and in delight receives.
By faith I see my Lord whispering to my listening ear,
Come, my faithful servant thy Bridegroom is near.
My heart rises in expectation when I see with faith’s eyes,
The day when the faithful and the dead in Christ rise.
My faith sometimes seems weak but at times raises to great heights;
Like an eagle it climbs when it is renewed by new insight.

Father give me eyes of faith to always see the goodness of the Lord.

Life is a gift, although sometimes it feels like a troublesome gift.  When we realize we do not need to go it alone, there is a certain joy and assurance our Lord is at our side.  He is also our strength inside.  It is very possible with the Holy Spirit’s help to give thanks and sing His praises no matter what we face.

He Rides the Waves with Me

I walk with God in the light of the living,
Ever on the forever path; singing, loving and forgiving.
Each day has been prepared as a gift bestowed;
A time to share life, with the One that my life holds.
As we travel, when trouble and trials comes,
I entrust each moment in the hands of the most trustworthy One.
He is stronger than the wind that blows its icy breath.
He has already conquered the dreaded threat of death.
My God is able to calm the troubled sea,
Or He is willing to ride the waves with me.
With His Word He speaks to the enemy of my soul.
With His Word on my lips He is in control.
I walk with God toward the place I call home.
He assures all who believes need never walk alone.
We walk so close sometimes we use the same steps.
He will carry me through heaven’s door as His bride the closer we get.

It seems our world is truly darker than ever. Love spoke into my darkness at salvation. He speaks us each and every day. Lord open up our ears to hear what you desire us to do to lead another to the Light of Truth.

Love Speaks into the Darkness

Love spoke into darkness and there was light.
Love speaks into your dark place to give new insight.
Love spoke into existence the world, the moon and stars.
He speaks to your world …He knows where you are.
Love from the cross saw the great need of your soul;
A special place in His heart you hold.
Love has given His life so you can also His love speak.
He has given His Word to the seeking heart that seeks,
Love washes you white as new fallen snow.
His shed blood has made the redeemed new and whole.

Show and Tell By Brenda Drake

Wake up Church there is a revival in our future. Let us be willing and even eager to show and tell this world God is and always will be in control.

Show and Tell

Small children take things to school for show and tell;
Sometimes it is treasured object that is known by them well.
A special book…or a toy;
Or even a shinny object found nearby.
But the very favorite thing to do,
Is to show their pet if allowed to bring to school.
So great is their excitement when,
It’s their turn to show their treasure to their friends.

It is time for the Church to show and tell.
It’s time for them to share their faith as well.
Show others the Light of God’s love by your smile.
Show your complete trust and appreciation just like the small child.
Tell of your blessings and testify salvation’s plan.
When you love your brethren… God’s love they’ll understand.
Take time to sing God’s praises and remember …expect good to come;
For your faith shared with others show the works God has done.

Psalma 66:16
Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.

I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

I believe You my Lord I stand on the Word of God.

In our troubled world there are so many words, opinions, and downright lies all around us. We cannot lean to our own understanding. We need to trust God and on His Word depend.  

Lies From the Father of Lies

Flat out lies spoken to deceive;
Useless, of no value seeds;
Sown by evil unruly tongues.
A very evil work is done.
A flat out lie man heard from the start.
From God’s enemy, the father of lies evil heart.
He points out every infraction, sin and flaw,
Says you are doomed, and you are a lost cause.
It’s a flat out lie; Jesus loved you so much,
He died to pay your debt of sin to fill with His love.
It is never too late to repent and to change your ways.
Jesus is ready at every moment of every day.
It is a great lie you have committed the unforgivable sin;
If you desire forgiveness, you have not so blasphemed Him.
Read the Word, so His ways you will understand,
Then the seeds of untruth will not grow in your land.

Ephesians 4:27

This world will one day be left to carry on its terrible plans to rule and reign and we will depart to be with Jesus to celebrate with each other until the time we with Jesus returns to rule for 1000 years. I do not understand it all but I know it is something to look forward too.


Soon and very soon I will fly away with the Lover of my soul.

In the Twinkling of an Eye

Just a fraction of time…in the twinkling of an eye,
God’s faithful and the dead in Christ will rise.
It has been said many times before,
But it should be retold more and more.
The Bridegroom went to a place prepare,
For His Bride that with Him eternity shares.
The earth groans with anticipation of release,
As it yearns again for perfect peace.
Rejoicing in the good news God’s  love-ones shares;
People of every Nation respond and will join Him in the air.
Be diligent to live-loud in their midst.
Be vocal to your feelings express.
Be bold in your stand for Christ.
Let His love shine in you bright.
The joy and hope of His soon return make known,
So many more will join you when I draw you home.

John 12:25-26
He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

In Service to the Lord

Pointed in the right direction, with eyes focused on the goal;
Self is laid aside and God is in control.
Others become more important as God has designed.
Your life is offered in service as you give God your time,
You have heard it is more blessed to give than to receive;
The truth is when you give you will get more than you need.
The world’s way and God’s way are worlds apart;
The world reasons with the mind and God reasons with the heart.
The world demands more with self and greed in control,
God’s way says when you give to you more from Him overflows.
The kind heart is poured out with love to their fellow man,
With an understanding, open mind, and with a generous open hand.
Jesus is the example He laid His life down,
To prepare the way so salvation could be found.
He gave His all for the fallen race,
So that they too would know the Father’s sweet embrace.
His undeserved favor we will eternally thank Him for.
What a great honor to be use on earth to serve the Lord.
